We have just been informed that due to an emergency related to building power, there will be emergency work performed this evening at 7:00 PM CST on the building power grid and could last up to an hour.  We have been informed that measures are being taken to prevent any outage during this time. However, this outage does have the potential to affect service availability within this timeframe.

We will be performing software maintenance on the main hosting system this Thursday, December 9th from approximately 19:00 to 20:00 CST.  This will help us to ensure we can continue to provide an up to date and secure system for the various services we provide.

We will be performing hardware maintenance on our primary hosting systems on Saturday, November 20th from 11:00 CST to 12:00 CST.  This maintenance will involve an outage as we need to power all systems down.  This maintenance is non-critical and should only involve minor disruptions in service.  We are sending out e-mails to all of our customer contacts with this information and will be sending out a follow-up message as soon as we have verified all maintenance has been successfully completed.

Please be aware that as of about 11:00 PM CDT on July 11th 2010 we have updated our firewall and security settings to provide greater security against direct attempts to exploit and breakin to the main hosting systems.  Although we have not had this happen to any of our systems a security flaw was found on another non-ciritcal, non-business system which allowed a remote user to utilize the system for port scanning purposes.  In light of this discovery we felt it necessary to review and update firewall settings immediately to ensure such an vunerability does not exist on our systems.
